Deleting Your Account

Last updated: 2026-08-09

You can permanently delete your Mi Player account and all data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to delete your account and which data is removed. The deletion itself requires signing in, so that only the account owner can delete the account.

Sign in and delete your account

1. Delete from within the app

  • In the Mi Player app, go to Settings → Account.
  • Choose "Permanently delete account".
  • Type your email address to confirm; your account and all your data are deleted immediately.

2. Delete on the web

  • Sign in to your account on mi-player.com (you can use the button above).
  • On the My Account page, scroll down to the "Danger zone" section.
  • Press "Delete account" and confirm by typing your email address.

3. Request by email

If you can no longer access your account, send a deletion request from your registered email address to info@mi-player.com. After we verify that the email address matches your account, your request is fulfilled within 30 days at the latest (usually much sooner).

4. Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, all of the following data is permanently removed; this cannot be undone:

  • Account details (email address, display name, password)
  • IPTV sources you added (M3U URLs, Xtream server and login details)
  • Favorites, watch history and watch progress
  • Subscription and trial records
  • Device records

5. Data that is retained

Payment-related records (transaction/invoice records) may continue to be stored by our payment provider (Stripe or Google Play) for the retention period required by tax and consumer law. No other data of yours is retained.
